Trouble hit the Sky Mist Program once again last week, when terrorists from RealAnonymous hacked the drone network that disburses the mists, infecting it with a virus that made the entire drone fleet temporarily useless.

The Sky Mist Program (the "SMP"), has been disbursing mysterious substances through skies worldwide since the early 21st century, when it was popularly known as "chem trails".  The invaluable program has faced a seemingly never-ending series of challenges since its inception.

"We kept the program on the down-low in the early days," explained SMP spokesperson Dr. Mel Ignant, "but some unexpectedly observant citizens noticed that planes didn't used to crisscross the sky, leaving streaks that expanded and lingered for hours.  People started asking a lot of annoying questions, such as what the streaks were, who was doing it, and why.

"We rolled out experts to explain that the mists were scientifically designed to save the planet from humanity, but the questions persisted.  Skeptics started doing testing, and demanding to know how things like barium, aluminum, cadmium and thorium were going to help.

"Eventually, even the pilots of the disbursal craft joined in the public outcry, without regard to their mega bucks salaries.  We tried covering the skull and crossbones on their loads with happy faces, but the problem persisted until they were all replaced by the drone fleet.

"Some pilots secretly refused to disburse their loads, making phony 'dry runs' that foiled several important SMP missions, including the Ebola Con mission of 2014.  This critical mission was designed to simulate an Ebola outbreak worldwide, in a noble effort to prepare the populace for its glorious global police state future.  This horrendous act of pilot defiance resulted in millions of dollars in losses by important Globalords, who had invested heavily in the Ebola vaccine and test kit markets in expectation of the simulated outbreak.

"Eventually, we decided to go full public with the SMP.  We called a series of press conferences, with experts to explain that the mists were scientifically designed to improve the human condition in a variety of creative ways -- ways that were too complicated for the public to understand, and better for them not to know.  But as usual, some contrarians refused to unquestioningly accept the opinions of official experts, and the barrage of objections and demands to cease and desist continue to this day.

"We had hoped the drone fleet, along with increasingly sophisticated behavioral control technologies, would eventually solve the SMP problems, but apparently, we're not there yet."
