"Whatever possessed Hawaii to declare itself an independent republic back in the year 2020?" asked baffled historians at this year's Revisionary History Conference in Orlando.

Well, the story dates back to 2014, when the citizens of Maui voted to stop mega biotech companies from using their island as a giant open-air laboratory for secret GMO and pesticide experiments. The citizen movement to enforce the Nuremberg Code soon spread throughout the islands and around the world, while the global oligarchy mustered its forces and fought back. The fracas eventually culminated in the Great GMO War of 2018.
